The fabrics that surround your baby every day should be as thoughtful as the care you give them. Bunnyjik began with a simple frustration: most baby basics look lovely online and feel thin in your hands. We set out to make the opposite — heavyweight, genuinely organic cotton you can feel the moment you pick it up.

Why so many baby fabrics disappoint

Babies spend fourteen to sixteen hours a day against their sheets. Yet most are thin and almost see-through — so your baby is really resting against the synthetic mattress or waterproof layer beneath, not against cotton at all. Thin fabric traps heat, feels plasticky, and gives no real comfort layer. The thing your baby touches most deserves more thought than that.

Heavyweight cotton, by design

Our sheets are woven to a luxurious 200gsm and our hooded towels to a plush 540gsm — noticeably thicker than the baby basics most parents are used to. That weight creates a real, breathable comfort layer between your baby and everything beneath. It's why the first thing parents tell us is simply: you can feel the difference.

Long-staple Aegean cotton, made where it grows

We use long-staple cotton from the Aegean region, where the world's softest, silkiest fibres naturally thrive — the same premium cotton prized by luxury bedding makers. It's woven and sewn in Turkey, at the source, by people who have worked with cotton for generations. Longer fibres spin into smoother, stronger yarn — better airflow and temperature regulation, more absorbency, and a fabric that resists pilling and stays soft wash after wash.

Certified organic. Truly pure.

Every Bunnyjik fabric is made only from GOTS-certified organic cotton — independently certified by Control Union under licence 1139680, which you can verify yourself at global-standard.org. GOTS is the world's most trusted organic-textile standard, and it rules out exactly what you don't want near a newborn: no polyester blends, no synthetic fibre mixes, no synthetic softeners. Not a marketing claim. Not greenwashing. Just pure cotton, from seed to sleep.

Made to fit, and to last

Pure cotton settles a little on its first wash, so we cut our sheets slightly oversized. After that first wash they find their perfect fit, hold their shape, and only get softer and more cocoon-like over time. They're made to be washed often, and loved for a long time.
